Meet Chuck Kennedy
Chuck Kennedy is the marketing director for 2 Channel Distribution, the new wholesale division of Acoustic Sounds, Inc. With more than 32 years of retail-related experience and 38 years as a Hi-Fi enthusiast, Chuck brings both a professional and passionate approach to 2 Channel's beginnings.
Chuck still remembers distinctly his first encounter with true high-end audio. It was an all-tube system featuring Dynaco, Wharfedale speakers, and tubed Ampex reel-to-reel tape machines. The sound was immense, a literal "wall of sound." Later, at a neighbor's house, Chuck was turned on to a more traditional high-end system of Bozak speakers, McIntosh electronics and a Thorens turntable. The bait was taken and the hook set. Chuck's passion for collecting music and juggling hi-fi equipment has continued to this day.
After 11 years of selling Hi-Fi in New Orleans, Chuck, along with his wife and son, moved to Salina, Kansas to begin 2 Channel Distribution. He continues to pursue his other interests of photography, travel, sampling single malts and red wines, quaffing craft brews and chasing down new cuisines with the hopes of expanding his horizons and waistline.
